Fees for DBT at Family Psychology of Long Island are as follows:
- Intake: $175
- Individual Sessions: $140
- Groups $65 per session, paid monthly
- Monthly Saturday Family Skills Seminars are $150
The DBT therapists do participate with several prominent insurance companies including: Medicare, Optumhealth, United Behavioral Health, UHC, Magnacare, and Oxford.
Even if a therapist does not participate with your plan, payment arrangements may often be worked out by accessing one’s out-of-network benefits. Representatives at your insurance company can help you determine the amount of out-of-network benefits available to you.
Additionally, your therapist may also work with your insurance company to obtain a single-case, or ad-hoc, agreement. Insurers may grant these agreements to their members to receive DBT when it is provided in a comprehensive team setting such as ours. As we are the only full-service DBT team in Suffolk County, we have had much success in negotiating these agreements. Single case agreements cannot be made prior to the first meeting with a therapist. |
